2. Description of Service

BunkBuddy is an automated attendance tracking and scraping tool designed exclusively for students of NSUT. We provide a dashboard to view fetched attendance data, resources, and academic details through an automated headless scraping architecture.

3. Account Security and Credentials

When you provide your credentials (Roll Number and Password) to BunkBuddy, you authorize us to use them strictly to fetch your personal academic data from the NSUT IMS portal.

• Your credentials are encrypted and stored locally on your device.
• We do not store, log, or transmit your raw password to any external unauthorized servers.
• You are responsible for safeguarding the device you use to access the Service.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service:

• In any way that violates any applicable national or international law or university regulation.
• To exploit, harm, or attempt to exploit or harm the university infrastructure (IMS).
• To transmit, or procure the sending of, any automated spam or unsolicited queries beyond reasonable usage.
• To impersonate another student or entity.

5. Disclaimer of Liability

BunkBuddy is a third-party tool and is not officially affiliated with NSUT. The data presented is scraped directly from the official portal. We are not responsible for:

• Inaccuracies or delays in the attendance data.
• Any disciplinary action taken by the university as a result of using automated tools.
• Service downtime due to changes in the official IMS portal architecture.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
